No more training wheels!

Last week Jerry finally taught Morgan to ride her bike without training wheels!! Morgan has wanted to learn for a while now but has been too scared of falling. She's been seeing our neighbor's daughter out there riding her bike without training wheels and she's only 5 and Morgan is almost 7, so she was determined! I can't believe how quick she got it. One down, two to go! Although Brycen keeps saying he wants a skateboard! Jerry took him to Dick's sporting goods the other day and said he threw a fit when he saw the skateboards because he wanted one. We better start saving our money now for the hospital bills.

That was yesterday. Today they were out again riding their bikes and first Avery fell and skinned her arm, then Jerry took them for a bike ride and the next thing I hear is Morgan screaming for me to "come quick it's really bad". Apparently she ran into a trash can (it's okay to giggle, I did)! Here's the girls wounds of the day. Morgan is on the left and Avery on the right.

Burrrrr it's cold in here!!

Our heat started acting up again yesterday morning. The unit would come on but nothing was coming out of the vents. The repair man came out yesterday afternoon and said that our blower had fried. That's another $500 in addition to the $700 we paid out last month when our board went out. Oh the joys of being a homeowner! Anywho, they are having to order a new blower from Ohio and having it sent "overnight" but it' was too late to send out last night so it won't go out until today which means it will not be here until Monday!! The high's during the day have been in the 40's so you can imagine how cold it was at night. We had friends let us borrow 3 space heaters which helped in Brycen's room and with taking showers but they really don't put off a whole lot of heat in big open rooms such as downstairs and our bedroom. Therefore, Jerry and I froze our butts off, the girls slepts with a heating blanket last night and Brycen was snug as a bug in his room with the space heater. The girls are going over a friends house tonight and tomorrow night, then the weather will be warming up so it shouldn't be too bad come Saturday and Sunday.

Well, it's been a while. I just haven't been feeling inspired for some reason. The girls were randomly singing a song they learned from their trip to Nana's. Apparently it is off of some old camp songs my mom had? I tried to get them to sing it together but if you don't know my girls, they can not do anything together without fighting. I do have to say, I'm pretty impressed that Avery actually stood there singing the song and let me film her. Enjoy!
