The first second lost tooth

If you don't know already, Morgan has been very anxious to loose her first tooth. She has been asking for over a year when it was going to happen to her. My response? "Some people just have good strong teeth and they take longer to fall out". Finally, she lost her first tooth last month while I was at the grocery store. I came home to the exciting news followed by, "but I left it on the counter and now it's gone." We searched for the teeny, tiny tooth, Jerry even sifted through coffee grounds in the garbage (what a good daddy) thinking that it got thrown away, still no tooth. Morgan left the tooth fairy a note explaining the situation and the tooth fairy graciously left $5. Last week Morgan's 2nd tooth hung by a thread and finally fell out. Morgan was very careful not to loose the tooth this time. The tooth fairy left $1 this time and a note saying the she could keep this tooth since she lost her 1st. Morgan was so excited that she wanted to take it to school the next day to show everyone. When she got off the bus, she was crying hysterically because she dropped the tooth (well, the baggie it was in) and the tooth split in two. She said it must have been rotten and she needs to brush better. My poor toothless girl is having such bad luck with her teeth! Maybe 3rd time's a charm.
